Nha Trang real estate is still waiting for an iconic building

Early realizing the potential of Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa province has applied policies to boost the pace of tourism development in the province: Building a modern transportation system for railways, roads, air routes, opening highways … Especially, in the second quarter of 2018, when the international port of Cam Ranh Airport was completed with a capacity of about 4 million passengers/year (by 2025), the number of international tourists to Nha Trang is forecasted to increase by 30-40% due to the travel time from Cam Ranh Airport to Nha Trang city center is only about 30 minutes (along the Nguyen Tat Thanh coastal road). Up to now, Nha Trang has become an important transport hub of the South Central Coast.

Full convergence of important factors to become a resort paradise, the total number of tourists coming to Nha Trang is increasing and the stay period of the tourists is highest-ranking in the country. According to statistics, if the stay period in other tourist cities usually stops at 1.2 days, the figure of 2.2 days is the shortest stay in this coastal city. Only in January 2018, the total number of visitors staying in Nha Trang was 1,105,000 days with more than 1.2 million visitors; 410,000 visitors are served with an average stay of 2.7 days/person.

Nha Trang has the largest hotel supply in coastal cities, with a number of 3-5-star hotel rooms always achieving a capacity of over 95% on holidays and 70% on weekdays.

Waitting for 1 iconic building to reach out to the World

In fact, the development of the world in recent years has proven, “symbolic project” help to improve local awareness. Typically, when asked about the Opera House, 77% of the respondents can immediately answer is Sydney city. The iconic building is also an important breakthrough for famous cities such as Marina Bay Sands Super Hotel in Singapore, Burj Khalifa Tower in Dubai or the Bank of China building that changes the skyline in Hong Kong … This is considered an important key to elevating the level of world famous tourist cities.

Once mentioned on CNN and the world’s most popular tourist site, Nha Trang has caused a memory to the tourists not only because of the charming scenery but also because of local specialties, world-class utility systems and services (mud bathing, coral diving …) … but it all seems not enough to reach Nha Trang’s awareness of expanding on the international match. According to Mr. Hoang Van Dung, a travel consultant, the dynamic development of Nha Trang over the past 40 years has also contributed significantly to the Vietnamese tourism brand, however, along with the flow of the era, Nha Trang will need to have an “iconic project”, a prominent real estate product to create a breakthrough and step out into the world.

Nha Trang city beach stretches about 4km, along Tran Phu street. This is also the path of concentrating on the most expensive real estate projects in Nha Trang.

In the past 5 years, Nha Trang and especially, Tran Phu street have continuously welcomed big investors and projects worth millions of dollars, all of which have contributed significantly to promoting and Nha Trang tourism development. However, the land fund in this area is very limited because it is considered the most expensive and favorable “golden road” in the coastal city, and is expected to be a symbolic project on Tran Phu street of Nha Trang narrowed.

Therefore, in the last days of 2017, the coastal city seemed to be inundated when the information was revealed very narrowly: “young rich man” Sunshine Group will participate in the resort real estate race with the destination is the last golden land on Tran Phu street, with an international resort-entertainment project of nearly VND 10,000 billion.
